Norvex Is Now an Authorized Snorkel Dealer Across the United States

At Norvex, every decision we make starts with one question: will it help our customers get more done on the jobsite?

Jobsite performance, equipment durability, operator safety and uptime are the factors that guide everything we do. For more than 20 years, we have supported lifting professionals across Canada and the United States, and that experience has shaped a clear goal: to offer a complete lineup of lifting equipment capable of meeting the demands of North American jobsites.

Today, we are proud to take another step in that direction.

Norvex is now an authorized Snorkel dealer across the United States. From our Fort Myers, Florida location, our team can now supply, support and service the full Snorkel range of aerial work platforms nationwide - with the same objective as always: improving your jobsite performance.

Snorkel: Aerial Lift Expertise Rooted in Firefighting

The Snorkel name actually comes from firefighting. In the late 1950s, fire departments began using an articulating aerial platform - built on the hydraulic boom technology of Art Moore's Pitman Manufacturing - to lift firefighters and direct water from above. The platform was nicknamed the “snorkel,” and in 1959 the Snorkel Fire Equipment Company was formed around it. That name carried into the access industry, where Snorkel became one of the most recognized builders of aerial work platforms.

Today, Snorkel designs and builds aerial work platforms sold in more than 50 countries, with a lineup that runs all the way up to the 2100SJ - the tallest self-propelled boom lift in the world, reaching a working height of roughly 216 ft. Since 2013, Snorkel has been part of the Xtreme Manufacturing group led by Don Ahern, the same group behind the Xtreme equipment recently added to the Norvex portfolio.

Built for the Realities of the Jobsite

Snorkel equipment is engineered around what matters most to the contractors, fleet managers and independent operators we serve:

  • Rugged, long-lasting construction built for demanding job site conditions
  • User-friendly, intuitive controls that shorten operator training
  • Minimal maintenance requirements and proven reliability
  • A broad range of models to match the right machine to the right application

A Full Range, Now Available Through Norvex

The Snorkel lineup now available through Norvex covers the categories North American jobsites rely on every day:

  • Boom lifts - articulating and telescopic models for reach up, out and over obstacles, including the 2100SJ, the world's tallest self-propelled boom lift
  • Rough terrain scissor lifts - from quiet, zero-emission lithium-ion RTE models to the S9070RT-HC, the tallest ultra-capacity rough terrain scissor in North America
  • Electric scissor and mast lifts - compact platforms like the S3013E Mini that fit through a standard doorway, ideal for indoor and finishing work
